Côtes de Duras
Our terroir

The estate
Our vineyard
The Duras area lies in eastern Aquitaine, in the Lot-et-Garonne department, and forms part of what is commonly known as the vineyards of South West France.
An outstanding terroir for vines, the Côtes de Duras appellation now covers 1,800 hectares.
Geology
The well-balanced clay and clay-limestone soils bring finesse, elegance, charm, fruit and power to the wines.
Thanks to their distinctive location on the highest Côtes de Duras plateaus, the upper slopes are formed from Agenais molasse, allowing white grape varieties to thrive and fully express themselves. Red varieties prefer compact clay mixed with various limestones.
Estate: 15.10 hectares
Grape varieties
- Sauvignon: 8.13 ha (54%)
- Merlot: 1.97 ha (13%)
